In the last issue of our employee magazine, we already reported that a trade fair contact was to lead to an article in the renowned trade magazine 'K-Profi'. We would never have imagined that this article would now extend to over seven magazine pages. Seven pages about our "diva in the ghost train", our drive for development and research and how our high-performance plastic Lauramid® made it to the depths of the ocean, more precisely to 2,300 meters at 230 bar pressure.

Our Lauramid® has made it into the print media. As already reported in the last issue of together, Sabine Rahner, editor of the industry magazine K-Profi, visited us some time ago. After an intensive tour of our factory followed by an extensive interview with our Managing Director Mark Hoffmann, Business Development Manager Steffen Hepp and Marketing Officer Oliver Zander, Ms. Rahner bid us farewell, satisfied and packed with notes, photos and the company history "Alles Handtmann". A few weeks later, we received a correction sheet of the article and were able to send it back for approval after making minimal corrections. The wait for June 23, 2025 had begun, as this is the publication date of the current issue of "K-Profi".
When we were able to hold the printed report in our hands, we were a little proud. Even more so because we didn't have to book expensive advertisements for it, as is usually the case. The editor and the magazine noticed our Handtmann Kunststofftechnik very positively, they were enthusiastic about our extensive range and the special plastic Lauramid® and so seven whole magazine pages were filled with our work. Among other things, there is a report on our "diva in the ghost train" - as we like to call our Lauramid®. The thick-walled molded and metal composite parts were simply amazing, and the story of the generations from manufacturing to mass production was very impressive. Our strengths in cable car, shipbuilding and hydrogen technologies were also explained and that we close the material cycle by producing and selling regranulate for injection molding and as filament for 3D printing. The service solutions of plastics technology sister company Kegelmann Technik were also highlighted. "We are technical problem solvers in the field of plastics," Mark Hoffmann is quoted as saying and the editorial team adds: "The Lauramid® story is far from over."
