Since Arthur Handtmann founded Handtmann Elteka in 1968, we have continuously developed our high-performance polyamide PA12C with the brand name Lauramid®. Today, our product range extends from the manufacture of parts using the pressureless casting process, to granulates and filaments made from 100% recycled PA12C, to composite components.

However, our limits do not end with plastic. At Kegelmann Technik, part of the Plastics Technology division, we can produce parts using PU casting, various injection molding processes or 3D printing.

We support engineers in many industries with the design and reliably supply samples, prototypes and series parts after approval.

Prototypes & small quantities

Prototypes and small quantities can be produced as PU castings, Lauramid castings, using 3D printing or mechanically. With our portal milling machines with machining areas of up to 1,500 x 3,000 x 6,000 mm, there are virtually no limits to your ideas.

Large-scale production

We offer small, medium and large series made from our Lauramid material. However, we also use all commercially available materials for injection molding or 3D printing. We are just as happy to supply small quantities of 10 pieces as we are injection-molded or machined large series of several 100,000 pieces per year.

Almost none. Thanks to our innovative casting and machining processes for our high-performance polyamides, there are no limits - from batch size 1 in special shapes to series production runs in the millions. Talk to us, we will make the edition and shape you need possible.

Each of our solutions is also available food-safe on request. In the course of developing a seal for an immersion bell, we also received the PVHO-1 (Pressure Vessel Human Occupancy) certificate. But that's not all. Here you can find all our factory certificates and certificates:

Our high-performance polyamides were discovered, developed and perfected in our in-house laboratories. Whether in pure form, strongly bonded with carbon/glass fiber, printed in shape or with metal in the core, the arguments for using LTK® never run out. Semi-finished products in the form of rods, cylinders, tubes and sheets as well as inseparable composites with stainless steel can be found in our web store. Please note that this area is exclusively for our customers and that you need an account. If you do not yet have one, we will be happy to set one up for you free of charge. We cast semi-finished products without pressure in the form of rods, cylinders, tubes, plates and in combination with steel. Depending on your requirements, you will receive these pre-turned, contoured or cut to size. With further mechanical processing in our innovative machinery, they can also be turned into finished parts. We pay particular attention to the optimal use of materials, processing the chips into high-quality regranulate. From this we obtain, among other things, the starting material for our small parts from the injection molding process.

We also cast special shapes without pressure; from pure Lauramid®, with a metal core or in combination with glass/carbon fibers.

More complex shapes with undercuts and internal channels as well as prototypes are produced in-house using additive manufacturing.
